Alhamdulillah...minggu last kuliah  visual nie....tak sangka dah last dah.....minggu nie dr J kata nak bagi tips 25-30 % soalan final wahhhh...menarikkk..tunggu dan lihat ye..

Week 13

Alhamdulillah sampai ke minggu yang ke 13..Minggu depan last.....cepat masa berlalu....ilmu di timba...kena gali....gali....

Printing technology

Printing is a process for reproducing text and images using a master form or template.The history of printing goes back to the duplication of images by means of stamps in very early times. The use of round seals for rolling an impression into clay tablets goes back to early Mesopotamian civilization before 3000 BCE, where they are the most common works of art to survive, and feature complex and beautiful images.The printing press is considered one of the most important inventions in history. This device has made it possible for books, newspapers, magazines, and other reading materials to be produced in great numbers, and it plays an important role in promoting literacy among the masses. It was developed based on early principles of printing, and it has undergone many modifications over the years to meet the needs of people in different eras. In both China and Egypt, the use of small stamps for seals preceded the use of larger blocks. In Europe and India, the printing of cloth certainly preceded the printing of paper or papyrus. This was also the case in China. The process is essentially the same - in Europe special presentation impressions of prints were often printed on silk until the seventeenth century.

Visual Printing

IMAGE RESOLUTION:
Finding Happiness at 300 Dots-per-inch

Resolution is the measurement of how many 
dots/pixels fit into one inch. 
• The higher resolution, the sharper the image 
will be. 
• Recommends resolution: 300 dpi (dots per inch) 
for crisp, clear results. 

• Lower resolution images appear fuzzy, jagged and blurry

Low resolution images print fuzzy, jagged and 
blurry.
• The settings used during the original "capture" of 
an image (ie: scanning, digital camera, etc) 
determine its base resolution. 
• Resolution can only be improved by decreasing 

the image size, or by recapturing the image at a 
higher quality setting

Recommended minimum resolution for printing 
is 300 dpi; computer monitors generally have a 
display setting of 72 dpi-96dpi. 
• If your images have low resolution, they may not 

look bad on your monitor but will likely print blurry and jagged

Web images are predominately low resolution 
(72-96 dpi) GIF or JPEG files. 
• This resolution is good for quick transmission 

over the internet, but is not acceptable for printing

Scenario 1…Printing@Print shop
• A print shop/graphics designer/magazine asks a 
client for a photo at 300 dpi. 
• They wish to print it out at 5" x 7". 
• The client already has a beautiful digital photo 
with pixel dimensions of 2048 x 1536. 
• The client notices that the photo editing 
software is showing that the photo is set to 72 
dpi. 

• In your opinion, what should the client do…?Are you sure…???
• What will really happen….Your opinion….????


Scenario 2…Printing@home
• A person wants to make a 6" x 4" print.
• So, he go into Image Size within his photo 

program and see that it is telling him that the 
size of his images is 28" x 21” (yikes..!!)
In your opinion, what should the client do…?

Week 12

Alhamdulillah sampai ke minggu yang ke 12 dah....minggu ini dr J take over all the session in the class.Pada Minggu ini kami belajar tentang photoshop lagi...

inilah hasil pertama photoshop dari saya...agak dasat....huhuhu...need to improve..practise and explore...

Dr J menerangkan bahawa dalam Photoshop .Kita tidak semestinya belajar semua tools didalam 

nya...

Pekara yang penting adalah seperti  Marquee Tools, Lasso tools & Quick selection magic warn tool.

ok..kami di beri tugasan bagaimana ingin menghilangkan bot berwarna kuning ini...

Trip to Melaka 21 November 2014

Keutamaan Menuntut Ilmu :

ابن عبد البر عن أنس قال: قال رسول الله : اطْلُبُوا العِلْمَ وَلَوْ بِالصِّينِ، فَإِنَّ طَلَبَ العِلْمِ فَرِيضَةٌ عَلَى كُلِّ مُسْلِمٍ إنّ المَلائِكَةَ تَضَعُ أَجْنِحَتَهَا لِطَالِبِ العِلْمِ رِضَا بِما يَطْلُبُ

Anas ra. berkata: Rasulullah saww. bersabda: “Tuntutlah ilmu walau dinegeri cina, sebab menuntut ilmu agama itu wajib atas tiap orang muslim, sesungguhnya malaikat menghamparkan sayapnya pada orang yang menuntut ilmu karena redha (suka/senang) dengan apa yang dituntutnya (dicari).” (HR. Ibnu Abdul Barr, Kitab Irsyadul ‘Ibad)

Alhamdulillah....trip to Melaka  akhirnya menjadi realiti...dapat booking bas ....wah seawal pagi keluar  dari Bandar Penawar...pukul 6 pagi...nak jumpa kat parking tasik Ilmu pukul 7.30 pagi....niat kerana mu ya Allah kami melangkah ke UTM...

Jam 12.00 tengahari kami sampai kat Melaka......bermula lah episod menangkap gambar.....

Week 11

Bersua kembali ke minggu yang ke 11...diam tak diam da 11 minggu ulang alik ke UTM...3 kali seminggu...bermakna 33 kali  dah...ohhh perjalanan masih jauh...bertahan bertahan....

Week 10

Selamat kembali kita semua ke medan ilmu....ilmu memang luas....amat beruntung orang yang diberi kesempatan menimba ilmu....

Daripada Anas bin Malik r.a meriwayatkan bahawa Rasulullah s.a.w bersabda:
"Menuntut ilmu adalah fardu atas setiap orang Islam dan penuntut ilmu akan didoakan keampunan oleh semua termasuk ikan-ikan di lautan".

Semoga kita berada di golongan tersebut...

What can photoshop do to manipulate your image

-Refers to the process of revising the structure of an object from various aspects such as perspective , size, angle of view and so on .
-Through this process , the uniformity of the images can be generated either from the size , view , lighting and so on in order to form a more perfect image 
-This process also allows an object or image is placed at an angle or location needed in a more realistic situation and meet the requirements

What can you do with photoshop

Resolution

Image resolution is the detail an image holds. The term applies to raster digital image s, film images, and other types of images.. 

Image resolution can be measured in various ways. Basically, resolution quantifies how close lines can be to each other and still be visibly resolved

Resolution is the capability of the sensor to observe or measure the smallest object clearly with distinct boundaries. 

There is a difference between the resolution and a pixel. 

A pixel is actually a unit of the digital image. 

Resolution depends upon the size of the pixel. With a given lens setting the smaller the size of the pixel, the higher the resolution will be and the clearer the object in the image will be. 

Images having smaller pixel sizes might consist of more pixels. The number of pixels correlates to the amount of information within the image.
